Ideas:

- This real radio broadcast could be a good idea to have at the beginning of the 3d video with a microphone and a news broadcast name. Adding in a title and a added spot light shinning down on the microphone { which can be created in première pro. }

This could create a good introduction for the video and looking at news reel of pearl harbour, there's always a similar introduction apart from a microphone,

Pearl Harbour - movie - by Michael bay - shots and camera angles.

Far away shot -  with a right to left pan - the camera is on a level platform as the Japanese planes fly past.

A camera is placed above a Japanese plane - which follows the movements

A slow pan closing in on the Japanese planes - front view.

A aerial shot on a Japanese plane flying passed - little movement from the camera.

Wide shot - the camera is moving back slowly backwards, which then the Japanese planes fly by and disappear to a vanish point.

Close angle shot on boat with a Japanese plane flying low and passing by.

A camera shot behind bomb falling from high in the air towards a ship.

A camera shot beside a Japanese plane as it does a barrel roll into the attack of pearl harbour - this could lead to the camera doing a spin - barrel roll.

A camera placed inline with the ships guns ready to turn and fire at the planes

A static ground shot as the Japanese planes fly by

A camera positioned level and panning towards a front view of a possible ship sinking ?

A camera shot of a plane flying across pearl harbour

the camera becomes the back view of the Japanese plane and the camera can see the other planes behind it.

A static camera - facing pearl harbour as the planes fly by and disappear into the distance.

A static close up of the undercarriage of the bomb coming out of the plane ?

A camera shot looking up to view the planes flying over - the camera looks up to see the planes at a quick speed.

A camera positioned behind the plane - to then pan around it.

A camera cockpit view - inside the plane.

Documentary Style - How a documentary presents itself

- Fade in's - are frequently used to fade in one picture to another.

Clean cuts - used for footage to transition a video quickly to another scene.

- Short video clips - looking at the documentaries I watched - short clean cut footage are done to show the viewer multiple clips of footage in a short period of time.

- Black and white and colour are used together, but if a certain scene is shown it should remain black or white or colour until a transition or certain scene changes this.

In some documentaries like the history channels they used bold, time period based text to match to the period they are presenting.

Using Editing software to make the animation video black and white scenes have a graining effect in the footage - making it look old.

A title screen in a documentary or news reel  commonly begin with a fade in from black and the title sequence will have a black background with bold 1940s text placed in the middle.

Text in documentaries are placed commonly in the left bottom corner.

A time scale - could be added in the video to show the timeline of what your seeing in the footage - this was used in the history channels documentary.

Interesting transition - A camera reel transition could be used to move to another scene.

- selecting real event audio from pearl harbour to place in the video to give the it depth.

A sequence in the animation - where you can have a before and after shot in a scene.

- A narration style that is betrayed in a documentary - facial - someone with a clear speaking voice and assertive voice.

Someone who could do an American style accent - could add to the video.

A zoom in effect are used to enhance a picture in a scene.

Movie tone News - an idea of having the video starting like your in a picture house.

An idea for the beginning the video -

Fading from black, a title sequence and microphone are there with a made up news company or real one,  a piece of real audio from the events of pearl harbour starts playing to introduce the video to the viewer.

{ a piece of audio has been found and is in the references. }

Movie film reel - where one scene of the video could be placed inside a camera film reel.
